The restoration was started in 1982. That's the date on the registration and window stickers. It was purchased around 1975 from the original owner and used sparingly.

It ran and drove into the garage, but has not been used sine 1982.

We have now finished a complete nut and bolt restoration, the bent chassis repaired and strengthen, complete mechanical restoration, rebuilt numbers matching engine, twin 40 DCOE carburetors.

The engine has been built to supersport specs, high compression pistons, balanced bottom end, rear bowl sump, new old stock oil pump, unleaded head conversion, custom stainless exhaust, 15 gallon alloy fuel cell, gaz adjustable shocks all round, brake bias proportioning valve, Brake master cylinder and servo rebuilt, calipers rebuilt with stainless pistons. Chassis and all suspension component powder coated, steering rack and column rebuilt.

All new hard cupronickel fuel and brake lines, with stainless braided flexible brake and fuel lines

Factory (ford exchange) rebuilt type 2 single rail gearbox, reverse light switch, Rear hub carriers have been strengthened, fitted with bronze bushes and new chrom moly 4140 pivot bars.

Bluetooth satellite radio, hands free calling, custom interior, all new fully labelled wiring loom with comprehensive fuse and relay panel, new high efficiency core in the original radiator complete with thermo switch, puller fan and shroud.

Re covered suede Moto Lita steering wheel, refurbished set of AC gauges and Arrow switches make the dash pop with originality. Comprehensive and extensive body shell repairs and repainted in metallic Marquessa light mauve. New inner fenders.

Locking fuel cap.

Basically a brand new old vixen.

Still running the engine in but she runs and drives beautifully.

May be tempted to sell if a serious buyer comes along.
