My name is Ashley Hancock and I have a 1968 Vixen S1, production No. VX 157F.
The car is British Racing Green and is still in very original condition. I have owned
it since 1995 and I have a lot of information relating to previous owners of the car
(supplied by the vehicle licensing authority in the UK) - I am able to trace its
history back into the 1970s. The car has the 6 inch, 72 spoke centre-laced wire
wheels fitted to the 'Lilley' Griffiths - the car was also originally yellow - these
two facts taken together lead me to suspect that it may have been one of the two
specially prepared Vixen S1s used during the filming of the last ever episode of
'The Saint' (the original series starring Roger Moore). I have been a member of the
TVRCC since buying the car and took it to the inaugural 'TVR Mania' event and
the 'TVR Golden Mania' event at Brands Hatch. The car is currently off the road
while I replace the fuel tank and attend to some other minor problems but I hope
to have it ba ck on the road soon. I will send some photos as soon as I can arrange
to have some scanned.

****** update 15.06.2015 ****************** I was an original owner of this vehicle from 1997 - 1995 when I crashed it - insurers took it as a write off . Always wondered what happened to it after. Came across your registry and note is is now green and sold on... Would love to find it ? Yes it was the one in The Saint TV show also I still have 2 badges for it and old reg book when it was transferred from 1 MOK to ULU 670F in 1977. Regards David Manning
