William Honey's Vixen S1 - VX123/F

My TVR Vixen was the prototype Ford engined car built by David Hives in March 1966 and used by the factory as a test mule until it was displayed at the official Vixen launch at the Earls Court Motorshow in October 1967.

It was then registered in November 1967 as KFV235F and used as the factory press car in many magazines such as Autosport (March ’68) Autocar (April ’68) Motor (May ’68) Hot Car (August ’68) and a factory advert in Car. (September ’68)

Sold by the factory in late 1968 or early 1969.

I have owned the car since 2001. It had been stored in the back of an old furniture truck since 1986.

It is being rebuilt to its original specification at the time of its display at the ’67 Motorshow.
